About The Artist
Azeza Possum is a renowned Indigenous Australian artist and the daughter of Michelle Possum Nungurrayi. Residing in Reservoir, Melbourne, she cultivates her artistic endeavours while nurturing her daughter Zaraiya Ramzan. In the footsteps of her mother, Azeza carries forward the traditional narratives, distinctive style and a substantial portion of the symbolic imagery pioneered by her revered grandfather, Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri. Her artistic expression goes beyond this lineage as she interweaves the sacred ceremonies and profound dreaming exclusively attributed to women. Her vibrant paintings capture the essence of sunlight, clouds, shadows, and the very essence of the earth, thus evoking a sensory experience for the viewer.

The painting size 62x77cm is the size of the artwork before being framed. Please be aware if you choose to get it framed, the size can be slightly smaller as some part of the canvas may need wrap around the stretcher.
