Frame the Summer Holidays
Why Summer Is the Perfect Time to Refresh Your Walls
As the days grow longer and the holiday season approaches, there's no better time to refresh your home with artwork that captures the spirit of summer. Think golden Italian coastlines, turquoise pools, tropical palms, and that endless holiday feeling — all brought to life through travel and places art prints.
At Gioia Wall Art, Australia's leading online gallery since 2018, we've proudly helped over 80,000 customers transform their walls with carefully curated artwork from 500+ independent artists. Our Travel & Places collection features 870+ prints — from Mediterranean village scenes to sun-drenched tropical escapes — all designed to complement popular Australian summer interiors like Coastal Luxe, Hamptons, French Provincial, Cottagecore, Mid Century, and Bohemian styles.
Italian Escapes: Mediterranean Sun & Coastal Charm
There's something undeniably romantic about an Italian summer — think Positano's colourful cliffside homes, Santorini's blue-domed churches, and long lunches overlooking the Amalfi Coast. These scenes capture the essence of slow living, golden light, and that coveted Mediterranean lifestyle we all dream of.
Artists like Ekaterina Zagorska bring European charm to life with vibrant coastal towns and iconic architecture, creating pieces that feel like a postcard from your favourite Italian escape. Her work features terracotta ochres, crisp Mediterranean blues, and warm golden hour tones — perfect for bringing that European summer into your living room, dining area, or entryway.
Standout pieces evoke lazy afternoons by the sea, from July in Menton & Italian Dream to Mediterranean Lunch, capturing the vibrant colours and relaxed energy of coastal Italy.
Tropical Pools & Hot Summer Days
If your ideal summer means poolside lounging, tropical palms, and endless sunshine, our collection of tropical and pool-inspired prints is where wanderlust meets wall art. These pieces introduce vibrant holiday energy and architectural elegance that ground living areas, creative home offices, and entryway galleries.
Ieva Baklane's Palm Springs-inspired work captures that California cool aesthetic — think poolside lounging, mid-century architecture, and sun-drenched palms against bright blue skies. Pieces like Palm Springs Pool, Midsummer, and House By The Beach bring bold, playful energy to any space, working beautifully in Coastal Luxe, Hamptons, and Mid Century interiors.
Meanwhile, Gal Pittel's retro-inspired artwork captures carefree drives and endless horizons for that ultimate summer feeling. Works like Summer Day At Palm Springs and Waiting for waves feature swaying palms, vibrant convertibles, and sun-soaked coastal roads that evoke those perfect, unhurried holiday days.
