Annie Hawkins Art

Annie Hawkins is a self-taught Australian artist with over 40 years of painting experience, creating original oil paintings inspired by vast open spaces, quiet landscapes and coastal waters.

Her work is characterised by muted colour palettes, a strong sense of space and simplified compositions that invite a personal connection with each piece. Light, texture and atmosphere sit at the heart of her paintings, encouraging viewers to pause and engage with the quiet beauty found in rural and coastal landscapes.

Annie's work has been featured in Home Beautiful magazine's "Australia's Local Talent – 20 Artists to Buy From Now". More than 300 of her original artworks have found homes in private collections throughout Australia and internationally.

Alongside her studio practice, Annie creates commissioned paintings, working closely with collectors to capture places of significance and create deeply personal works.
