Julianne Wade
Julianne Wade is a Whadjuk Noongar artist whose work reflects deep cultural roots and a lifelong commitment to sharing knowledge. Born in Perth and raised in Aotearoa, her art bridges her heritage and life experience, connecting Whadjuk Country and the Tainui community in New Zealand.
Julianne’s paintings are a powerful continuation of cultural practice, inspired by Dreamtime stories, traditional lands, and her involvement with the West Australian Aboriginal Leadership Institute. Her pieces speak to the enduring presence of First Nations culture and the sacred connection all land holds to Country.
This collection invites reflection on belonging, history, and healing… blending traditional stories with a contemporary voice. Through every brushstroke, Julianne honours her ancestors and encourages others to see the land as it truly is: living, storied, and sacred.
