Miree Original Art

Mirree is a Contemporary Aboriginal Artist from Wiradjuri country in the Central West of NSW, Australia. With a diverse heritage, her father being Aboriginal and her mother of European descent, Mirree spent years honing her unique artistic style. Initially, she pursued a career in dance before transitioning to playing the flute, even receiving an invitation to tour internationally. However, her true calling emerged in the visual arts, particularly pencil art and painting, as a means to share her gift of storytelling with the world.

Over the years, Mirree has exhibited her work in over 40 exhibitions, both in Australia and internationally. Her talent has been recognised globally, notably being selected to participate in the "Creatives Rising" exhibition in New York City, a distinction that garnered attention from ABC radio. Her success in raising funds from her art allowed her to exhibit again in NYC and Miami Beach.

Mirree draws profound inspiration from nature, often translating her deep connection and unique experiences into her vibrant paintings. As an autistic artist, her heightened creativity enables her to infuse her work with intricate details, movement, and bright colours that captivate viewers. Each piece, whether sketched in an art journal before being transferred to canvas or painted spontaneously, reflects her deep communion with nature. The genuine energy and emotion in Mirree’s original paintings make them come alive, offering a glimpse into the artist's soul and her deep bond with the natural world.
