Painting Description

This original painting continues Charlotte's exploration of ideas of transparency and solidity. Inspired by colour theory and stylised forms from nature, Charlotte embraces a distinctive, hard-edged abstract style, overlapping shapes and juxtaposing vibrant colours to achieve a sense of luminosity and equilibrium. Rainbow arcs are a recurring symbol in Charlotte's artwork, chosen for their association with hope, peace and joy as well as their visual versatility in creating abstract compositions.
