Painting Description
Ayers Rock is the largest monolith (single rock) on earth. Although Alice stayed in Australia for a period of time, this is one of the famous places in Australia where she has never been. This painting is like a bucket list for her, in the Wanderlust series.
Uluru has been painted with bold brushstrokes, expressing the mystic feel of story and history from Alice Spring.
Uluru is part of Alice Kwan’s Wanderlust series.
Wanderlust is inspired by places Alice has been to and places which she wants to visit one day.
It’s a combination of a bucket list and a public record of where she’s been. Painting them and hoping to evoke viewers motivation to explore the world we live in.
