In Flight

In Flight by Elle Pervez - This artwork is inspired by the countless birds enjoyed from our home in country Victoria, and along our recent trip down from Alice Springs. From eagles to budgies, wrens to ducks and beyond, it’s been a joy to watch the birds from home and on the road. We even learnt fun facts at the Desert Park at Alice Springs - did you know wedge-tail eagle's eyesight lets them see infrared and ultraviolet light? Pretty amazing!

This artwork is one from my new and ongoing collection, Under Every Sky. Rather than releasing the full collection all at once, I’ll be sharing each artwork as it’s finished. This flow suits where I am in life right now, and lets every piece shine.

This collection draws from inspiration from my property, outback Australia, and a recent road trip home from Alice Springs, where the land shifts with every hour and the sky does most of the storytelling. These aren’t just landscapes I looked at, they’re places I felt.
