Tahni Derbin is a proud Dunghutti woman who was born in Macksville and spent a lot of her childhood moving around, until she relocated to the Gold Coast at the age of 17. She is a registered nurse who has been working in mental health since 2016 and has a huge passion for improving the mental health of her people. She is in her final year of medical school and hopes to make a bigger impact in her career as a Doctor.
